Delaware

7 public access points across 3 water bodies.

Delaware's fishing profile is dominated by two neighbors: the Atlantic Ocean on its eastern coast (Fenwick, Indian River Inlet, Cape Henlopen) and Delaware Bay on its western shore (Slaughter Beach, Lewes). Cape Henlopen's free fishing pier is one of the most productive year-round public piers on the East Coast. Inland Delaware is small — Lums Pond stands alone as the state's major freshwater destination.
