Privacy

Short version: this site doesn’t collect anything about you beyond what Cloudflare’s server access logs record by default. No cookies, no analytics, no accounts, no ads.

Nothing directly from you. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which maintains standard server access logs — IP address, user agent string, timestamp, requested URL — for security and rate-limiting purposes. We don’t read or analyze those logs beyond Cloudflare’s built-in analytics dashboard (page view counts, geographic distribution, common errors). Cloudflare retains access logs per their standard retention policy.

  • We don’t set any cookies.
  • We don’t use any analytics SDK (no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Fathom).
  • We don’t have user accounts, newsletters, or email capture.
  • We don’t serve ads or retargeting pixels.
  • We don’t use your geolocation — every location on the site is a pre-selected public access point.
  • We don’t share your information because we don’t collect it.

When your browser renders a page, it requests a few third-party assets:

  • Google Fonts — the page stylesheet links to fonts.googleapis.com for Newsreader, Plus Jakarta Sans, and JetBrains Mono. Google sees the font load request. See Google’s privacy policy.
  • Leaflet (map page only) — the map page loads Leaflet stylesheets from unpkg.com. The Leaflet JavaScript itself is bundled with the site and does not generate a third-party request.
  • CARTO map tiles (map page only) — the map page fetches base-map tiles from basemaps.cartocdn.com. The tiles are derived from OpenStreetMap data with appropriate attribution; CARTO operates the tile-serving CDN. See CARTO’s privacy notice.

If you want a fully third-party-free experience, use a browser extension to block those domains. The site still works without fonts and without the map (other pages use no third-party resources).

If you have a data request or privacy question, email [email protected]. If you want your IP removed from Cloudflare access logs, that’s Cloudflare’s retention policy — we’d need to forward the request.

If this policy changes, this page updates. There’s no versioned changelog — check back if you want to see what we’re doing.
