Point Lookout at the southern tip of Maryland where the Potomac meets the Chesapeake is one of the most diverse fishing spots in MD. Stripers, flounder, red drum, seatrout, and bluefish all come through. Long fishing pier and miles of shoreline.
Day-use fee. Long fishing pier at the point. Best access at the tip for mixing Bay/river currents. Fall red drum and flounder are a highlight.
